Spencer Cox: A Celebration of Life

The afternoon of January 20, 2013, was one of warmth, laughter, tears and memories as hundreds gathered at The Cutting Room in New York City to celebrate the life of Patrick Spencer Cox – an activist, writer and actor; our friend, colleague, partner, son, brother, nephew and cousin.

As this Facebook page has become a space to mourn, remember and comfort each other, please note that we have changed the date of the memorial to January 20, 2017, only to ensure that this page remains accessible and searchable.

Tim McCarthy will be posting videos of the funny, thoughtful and heartbreaking eulogies, as well as the brilliant reading by David Drake and the beautiful closing performance by Kathryn and Tom Kitt. And we encourage everyone to continue posting their own tributes, stories, photographs and videos.
